ENESAD - National school of higher agronomy studies, The Department Science of the Training and communication, is a component of the French Ministry of Agriculture, having a role in pre-service and in-service training, research and engineering, focusing on the following fields of competence: rural and social economics; education and communication sciences.
ENESAD is actively involved in continuing education, having specific roles in providing support for agricultural education (methodological support for colleges, producing and publishing educational resources using new technologies) and international cooperation on education systems and management.
The vocational didactics team is one of two which make up the "Career & Training Development" research unit (being included in the Department of Education & Communication Sciences) aiming to analyse and understand how individuals construct and develop occupational skills, through experience, especially experience in the workplace, and also in training. In addition, it aims to appraise the nature of the experience acquired, the conditions under which learning by experience was achieved, and the process of expression of that experience. The team is currently working on several programmes related to this topic.
According to its expertise, ENESAD is the co-ordinator of the work block 5 - Elaboration of the set of instruments, and main contributor of the 6^th work block, Testing and validating the set of instruments.
